New concept art for the rumored Persona 4 Remake has surfaced online ahead of a reported reveal at the Xbox Games Showcase.
Over the past few weeks, there’s been a steady stream of leaks and rumors pointing to a Persona 4 Remake in the works. Now, with the Xbox Games Showcase set for tomorrow, fans have even more reason to pay attention, especially after some eye-catching concept art surfaced online.
Insiders and leakers have reported that Atlus is getting ready to officially reveal Persona 4 Remake at this week’s Xbox event. This comes on the heels of a registered domain (p4re.jp) and even comments from original voice actors who say they haven’t been contacted about the remake. It all points to something big happening very soon.
New Persona 4 Remake Art Leaked?
Now, it looks like we might have our first (very blurry) look at Persona 4 Remake. This is according to a brand-new X (Twitter) account named “setsuna06062810” that was created just this month. The account shared two pieces of concept art, claiming they’re from the rumored Persona 4 Remake. The posts use hashtags “#P4R” and “#ペルソナ4.”
What makes this even more interesting is that the account is only following one other profile, the official Xbox account. That little detail has definitely raised eyebrows and suggests the big reveal could really be happening during Sunday’s showcase event.
As for the art, the first image, which looks like a pixel-style illustration, shows a character in the familiar Persona 4 school uniform with yellow details and silver hair. This design looks a lot like Yu Narukami, the main character from Persona 4, especially with the sword and pose.
The second image is a bit different; it’s a blurred concept sheet, but you can still make out a character wearing an orange scarf and headphones, wielding a kunai. These are signature features of Yosuke Hanamura, another fan favorite from the game.
