Since the official reveals of PS5’s console design earlier this month, fans cannot wait to know more about the PlayStation 5 price, release date, and when they can pre-order the console itself. There have been numerous rumors and insider reports that suggest that PS5 cost would be around $449 to $499.
PlayStation 5 Price, and Release Date on July 13th?
According to Roberto Serrano’, who claims to have sources inside the entertainment industry, has replied to Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess tweets, revealing that Sony will announce the PlayStation 5 price, release date, and pre-order on July 13, 2020.
Roberto further revealed that there is no event currently planned for this reveal from Sony. And that this reveal could be on July 13th or before.
Now, as always, we do have to suggest taking everything with a huge grain of salt. Earlier this year, Bloomberg reported that the PS5 unit cost is around $450 meaning that it costs Sony $450 to produce one PlayStation 5 console. This gives us an estimate that PS5 would cost at least more than $450.
