Yesterday, Sony released another State of Play showcasing new games coming on the PlayStation VR2, and some exciting titles coming to PlayStation’s PC catalog including, Spider-Man, Miles Morales, and Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Speaking of PlayStation VR2, it looks like this upcoming VR headset will not have PC support — at least at launch. This is according to the State of Play Recap video published on the PlayStation’s official YouTube channel.

At the very end of the video, there’s a long text that gets into detail about the new PSVR2 headset. “PlayStation®5 console and PlayStation®VR2 are required to experience PlayStation VR2 functionality,” the text reads.

This seems to hint that you would need both the PlayStation 5 console and the new PlayStation VR2 headset to use the PSVR2 technology.

However, there isn’t any official confirmation about this from Sony right now. Hopefully, we’ll get some official details on this very soon.
