A new leak claims to show the first screenshot from Riot Games’ unannounced Valorant MMOFPS, rumored to be codenamed “Project T.”
Earlier today, we reported that Riot Games is quietly working on an unannounced FPS project connected to the Valorant universe, one that job listings described as a “highly recognizable stylized game.” The listings hinted that the project had moved from early prototype into pre-production, though Riot hasn’t officially confirmed anything beyond that.
Since then, things have taken an interesting turn. A new image surfaced online, which appears to be our first look at “Project T,” Riot’s rumored Valorant MMOFPS.
Leaked screenshot may show Riot’s secret Valorant MMOFPS
The screenshot comes from a post by SargeOP_ on X (formerly Twitter), with credit for the image going to PlayerIGN, a name that’s been behind several accurate leaks in the past.
According to Sarge, the image supposedly comes from an early build of Riot’s new game. They describe it as “Project T,“ an MMOFPS or extraction shooter that’s been in development for a while and features things like “seasons” and “personal quarters progression.”
The screenshot itself shows a grid-based map which is clearly unfinished, with “10m” distance markers and a colorful, stylized art style that definitely feels Valorant-adjacent. A character in a red and blue dress holds a bright pink, futuristic rifle while a text prompt on screen reads, “Try that tricked out AR!”
The UI also shows health, armor, and weapon icons, further hinting at an FPS foundation. You can find the first alleged look at Riot’s Valorant MMOFPS below.
Sarge also clarified in a follow-up that the project is set in the Valorant universe but is not Valorant itself. While some speculate it could lean into MMOFPS territory, others think it might be an extraction shooter.
As always, it’s best to take everything here with a grain of salt until Riot says something official. The company has multiple unannounced projects in the works, and this could be anything from a prototype test to a completely different title altogether.
What do you think? Does this look like an early version of Project T, or something else entirely? Let us know your thoughts below.
