New reports show that Sony has closed a couple of their offices in Europe due to the coronavirus concerns. As of right now, Sony has shuttered three offices for the remainder of the week, which are located in London, Paris, and Gdynia (Poland).

The report comes from TBI, which states that “Out of an abundance of caution, the London, Paris and Gdynia offices will be closed for the remainder of the week, and employees should work from home.”

“The health and well-being of our employees is of the utmost importance. We thought it was important to share with you that one of our London employees may have been exposed to coronavirus COVID-19 given recent travels to an affected area.”

While there aren’t any reports of Sony employees tested positive for the coronavirus, Sony is taking precautionary measures for the safety of its employees and other staff members.

According to BBC, these three offices fall under Sony Picture Entertainment. So, this doesn’t affect anything PlayStation related. We’ll be updating more about this as news comes in.
