One of the PlayStation’s most successful franchises – Uncharted, has been looking for a new director for its movie adaptation for a while now. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was the last installment in this franchise released on PlayStation 4 on May 10, 2016, and developed by Naughty Dogs (developers behind The Last of Us franchise).
Uncharted Movie Delayed
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures re-shifted some of its movies and release dates which also included Uncharted starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The report says that this movie has been pushed back three months, releasing on March 5, 2021. This date is still not final as the franchise is still looking for a filmmaker right now.
This is because of the last filmmaker quit the movie franchise last year. Other than that, we are getting a new video game title for Naughty Dogs this year in The Last of Us franchise – The Last of Us 2, releasing on May 29, 2020, on PlayStation 4. Recent rumors also suggest that the title will be getting a release on PC as well. What are your expectations for the Uncharted Movie? Let us know in the comments!
