Uncharted is of the top franchises for PlayStation exclusives. In January 2020, it was made official that the Uncharted movie is indeed happening and that Ruben Fleischer has signed to direct the film. With Tom Holland as young Nathan Drake, Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan, things are finally looking bright for this movie adaptation after numerous red lights.
Uncharted Movie Started Filming
In March 2020, the filming production was halted mainly due to the COVID-19 global pandemic which is understandable as the priority of health comes always first. But now, it looks like the filming has officially started for the long-awaited Uncharted movie as confirmed by Tom Holland himself on his Instagram account. You can check out the post here.
The first shooting area for this film is set in Berlin, which is really interesting. The Uncharted movie is scheduled for release on July 16, 2020, in IMAX.

Apart from that, Naughty Dog (developers behind the Uncharted games) has started hiring for their next AAA projects for the next-gen console. It’s been rumored for quite some time now that the next mysterious IP from Naughty Dog is set in space. While it’s still a rumor with no actual confirmation or evidence, this does put out a unique interesting approach from the developers.
