Unlocked GeForce NOW Reveals God Of War Listed For Steam, Super Mario, GTA V, And More

GeForce NOW is a video game streaming platform, similar to Google Stadia where players can play any listed game without worrying about their PC specifications. According to a new find, there are over 18,000 games listed on GeForce NOW including some PlayStation exclusives like God of War (2018), Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, MAFIA: Definitive Edition, etc.

This comes from a Twitter user Ighor July who managed to unlock all the games listed on the GeForce NOW servers by cracking the code of the GFN app. While you may be wondering, if these games are unlocked, you must be able to play them, right? Well, it turns out, this is not the case. As Ighor confirmed that the launcher won’t let you start any game that you do not own. Take a look at some of the PlayStation exclusives below:

The Twitter user has published an article as well as a YouTube video explaining how they got into this. And while this sounds like these games might be ported to PC via GeForce NOW, it’s possible that these might be for internal use only for Nvidia (as of right now).

The interesting thing is, how Nvidia has all of the landing pages ready for these games, even though these games were never even hinted at to be released on the platform. But, keep in mind that just because these games have a landing page on GFN doesn’t necessarily mean that these are coming out soon.

One of the listed games on GFN is the New Super Mario Bros. which is developed and published by Nintendo. On the landing page, we can see the game thumbnail image with a very prominent text “Nvidia Confidential” which could mean that Nvidia is able to play these games internally.

Another thing to notice here is the Dolphin emulator listed in the GFN app as well. In case you’re not familiar, in short, Dolphin is an open-source emulator that lets you run GameCube/Wii games on Windows, Linux, etc.

Pavel Djundik, who is the creator of the SteamDB website, dig into this and found games that have no Steam AppID. Some of these games include Bioshock 2022, Bioshock RTX Remaster, Batman: Arkham Knight RTX Remaster, Mirror’s Edge RTX Remaster. You can check out the complete list here.
