It’s almost here! The Elden Ring closed beta is going live later this week. Elden Ring is a long-awaited Action-RPG from the makers of Dark Souls games, FromSoftware. The game follows the same footsteps of the Souls franchise with more broadened features, world, enemies, abilities, etc.

Bandai Namco officially announced the Elden Ring closed network test last month. Players could sign-up to participate in this closed beta via an online web form.

When is the Elden Ring Closed Beta Release Date?

According to the official article published by Bandai Namco, players will be able to access the Elden Ring closed network test starting Friday. November 12, 2021.

When is the Elden Ring Closed Beta End Date?

Starting on November 12, 2021, Elden Ring closed network test will be available throughout the weekend, from Friday, November 12, until Monday, November 15, 2021.

Elden Ring Closed Beta Start Time

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Elden Ring closed test will feature play sessions on each day it’s live. This means players will have to be available on the given time frame in order to participate in the beta. Below, you can find the details for each play session.

  • November 12: 12 PM to 3 PM CET
  • November 13: 4 AM to 7 AM CET
  • November 13: 8 PM to 11 PM CET
  • November 14: 12 PM to 3 PM CET
  • November 15: 4 AM to 7 AM CET

The above-mentioned schedule is according to the Central European Timezone.

Is Elden Ring Closed Beta Cross Play Enabled?

According to the official article, the Elden Ring closed network test will not feature cross-play feature. However, it does have cross-gen support. This means players can play with each other between PS4 and PS5, and between Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles, but not with each other.

“The game will allow for cross-play multiplayer (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players will be able to play together, same for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. PlayStation players will not be able to play with Xbox players).”
