Recently, the God of War Ragnarok voice actor behind Thor revealed that he just did the last bit of work on the character. God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games this year. While there were several AAA titles that were pushed back to 2023, it seems like this next installment in the franchise is still scheduled to release in 2022.

Ryan Hurst, who is doing the voice acting and motion capture work on Thor in Ragnarok, recently revealed that he just finished doing the last bit of work on the character.

Speaking during the Comic-Con Revolution last month (via Steven Alvarez); “Just did the last tiny bit of God of War [Ragnarok] for Thor,” he said. When asked about he got the role, Hurst replied; “They just offered it to me, the two creators of the video game.

“They came over to my house for like five hours and they showed me all the artwork and described the story for the entire video game which was super complex and it was this rich tapestry of stuff.”

Santa Monica Studio revealed the first look at Thor in Ragnarok back in September 2021, during the PlayStation Showcase event. The initial fan reaction wasn’t all positive as most fans had the MCU Thor image which is completely different compared to what Santa Monica Studio is going for with this version of the character.

Fans were and still are really concerned about whether or not God of War Ragnarok will get delayed this year. Recently, the game was officially rated in South Korea by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee, suggesting that the game is almost finished and still on track for a 2022 release.
