NetEase Games has just announced that PlayStation players can get some exclusive items in Marvel Rivals when it launches later this week.
Marvel Rivals is gearing up for its debut on December 6, bringing fast-paced 6v6 PvP action to PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. With a roster of 33 iconic Marvel heroes and villains, from Thor and Spider-Man to Punisher and Hulk, fans will have their hands full choosing a favorite.
The best part? Every character is free at launch, letting players jump straight into the action without worrying about unlocking heroes. Marvel Rivals also takes full advantage of PS5’s DualSense controller, offering an immersive experience with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. as announced in a new PlayStation Blog article.
“Marvel Rivals brings an immersive superhero combat experience to players, by utilizing the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback technology of the PS5 DualSense wireless controller to deliver immersive sensations,” the article reads.
But, that’s not all. The developer has also announced some exclusive goodies for PlayStation 5 users, as well as the PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Marvel Rivals’ Exclusive PS5 And PS Plus Rewards
PlayStation fans have even more to look forward to, with exclusive Marvel Rivals cosmetics revealed for both PS5 players and PS Plus subscribers.
First up, PS Plus members will unlock a Venom-inspired cosmetic pack for Peni Parker for free, transforming her into the menacing VEN#M mech suit straight from the comics. The pack includes a custom name card, a dedicated MVP animation, and additional perks like Season Pass tokens.

In addition to that, the developer has also confirmed that the game “maintains a stable” 60 FPS at 1440p resolution, or up to 120 FPS in High Frame Rate Mode. Coupled with PS5 Pro enhancements like Pro Mode, Lumen reflections, and dynamic lighting, Marvel Rivals is shaping up to be the ultimate superhero showdown for PlayStation fans.
