Bungie has revealed the new Artifact perks coming in Destiny 2 Episode Heresy Act 2.
We’re now in the final week of Heresy Act 1, which kicked off with a ton of new content, including The Nether seasonal activity, the Derealize Exotic mission, and more. Act 2 is just around the corner, launching on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. With this new act, we’ll be getting new narrative quests for the Hive’s ongoing story. In addition to that, players can also expect a new seasonal activity, weapons, and five brand-new perks for the Tablet of Ruin Artifact.
During Bungie’s latest developer livestream, the development team gave a preview of what’s coming, including a first look at the new Artifact perks for Act 2. This time around, the Artifact perks appear to be focused on Trace Rifles.

Destiny 2 Heresy Act 2 Artifact Perks Preview
The Heresy Act 2 Artifact preview was shared during today’s developer livestream, highlighting new perks. Here’s the full list of Artifact perks coming in Heresy Act 2:
- Overload Trace Rifles: Uninterrupted fire from your equipped Trace Rifle causes the beam to stun combatants, delaying ability energy regeneration and exhausting them. Strong against Overload Champions.
- Exhausted targets deal reduced outgoing damage.
- Beam Medic: Rapid Trace Rifle final blows heal you and nearby allies. Powerful combatants increase the amount.
- Elemental Siphon: Rapid final blows with a Kinetic weapon or a weapon matching your equipped Super create an elemental pickup that matches your equipped Super.
- Boost: Elemental pickups grant matching Super energy when they are collected.
- Harsh Refraction: Trace Rifles do more damage to targets afflicted by elemental debuffs matching their elemental type.
- Limit Break: Casting a Super while you are critically wounded or have an elemental buff matching your Super element grants a period of increased Super damage.
In other Bungie news, it looks like the developer might finally be gearing up to share something new about Marathon, its upcoming extraction shooter. Recent updates to the game’s Steam database suggest that something could be on the way, whether it’s a new teaser, playtest, or an official reveal.
