We’ve got a lot of weapon quests in the past like Whisper quest, Zero Hour, etc. But as Bungie’s development team describes it, “these quests were for the moments of discovery reserved for the few people online within a limited time window to experience first.” But for Corridors of Time, everybody could jump in the bandwagon and contribute. That’s what was amazing about this quest, five non-stop days of solving a maze by thousands of players.

In This Week at Bungie blog-post, the developers congratulated the whole community for coming together and solved this incredible puzzle. It is definitely “one of Destiny’s most complex puzzles to date.” Corridors of Time puzzle was an idea “roughly based on the idea of the cult-classic movie Cube, where you would leave one door and end up in another identical room with a new death trap waiting for you,” similar to what Bungie has implemented with the Corridors of Time in Destiny 2. The movie was released back in 1997.

Destiny was released on September 9, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Destiny 2 was released on September 4, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was released later in 2019 on Google Stadia.
