If you’ve been keeping an eye out for new shooters to try on your phone, Destiny Rising is one of the most exciting releases to look forward to in 2025. Developed by NetEase in partnership with Bungie, Destiny Rising is a fast-paced mobile first-person and third-person title with hero shooter elements.
Just this week, Destiny Rising was featured during NetEase’s annual 520 conference, where the team showed off a brand-new gameplay trailer. This latest look gave us some new details about what to expect, including a first look at dual-wielding weapons and new hero characters.
On top of the new trailer, NetEase officially confirmed that Destiny Rising is kicking off its very first closed beta test, letting players try the game early before it launches.
The good news is, NetEase has now shared the full details on how you can register for the closed beta test. In this article, we’ll break down exactly how to sign up, along with all the important dates and times you’ll want to mark on your calendar.
How To Register For The Destiny Rising Closed Beta Test
Signing up for the Destiny Rising closed beta test is pretty straightforward, but there are a few steps you’ll want to follow:
- Head to the official Destiny Rising website: This is where NetEase is handling all closed beta sign-ups. There should be a clear banner or button to “Pre-Register Now.”
- Choose your platform: Select either Android or iOS. The beta will be available for both.
- Select your phone model and region: This helps the team know what devices and regions are interested in joining the test.
- Enter your email for Google Play: You’ll need to provide the email address you use for your Google Play account if you’re registering for Android access. This is required to get test access through the Play Store.
- Submit your details: Double-check your info, then hit submit. That’s it, you’re officially in the running!
UPDATE
NetEase has clarified that the Destiny Rising Closed Beta Test is exclusive to Google Play.
Right after you register, you’ll be prompted to complete a short survey. This step is important, NetEase says filling out the survey can increase your chances of getting a Beta code. So don’t skip it!
It’s worth noting that spots in the closed beta might be limited, so getting your registration in early is definitely a good idea.
