A new Destiny 2 Praxic Vestment glitch lets Titans hover in mid-air for as long as they want.
Destiny 2’s Renegades expansion dropped three new Exotic armor pieces, one for each class. Titans get Praxic Vestment, a chest piece that lets you fly around with a jetpack and slam into enemies with “a blinding blast of energy.” Hunters get Fortune’s Favor, which allows you to get overshield, and Warlocks get Deimosuffusion, a Strand helmet that turns their Rift into a crowd control (suspending enemies) and self-heal tool.
All three Exotics are guaranteed drops from the Renegades Legendary campaign, which already makes that playthrough a good deal on its own. There are also three exotic weapons that were added with this expansion: the Praxic Blade exotic sword, which is the lightsaber of the Destiny universe, the Service of Luzaku exotic machine gun, and the Heirloom combat bow.

Now, speaking of that Titan chest specifically, it turns out Praxic Vestment can do a lot more than Bungie intended. A newly discovered glitch lets Titans hover in mid-air for as long as they want, and it looks wild in motion.
How To Use The Praxic Vestment Flying Glitch In Destiny 2 Renegades
The glitch was found by YouTuber Solus, who showed that Praxic Vestment’s jetpack ability breaks in a very specific situation. If you trigger the air move and swap your chest armor at just the right moment, the game locks your Titan mid-air. Instead of finishing the normal Praxic flight animation, your player just hangs in the air and starts gliding sideways.
In this state, you cannot go higher or lower, and you move very slowly. It ignores the usual “box” barriers that keep you inside certain spaces, but it does not let you fully escape turn-back zones. The timer still kills you before you get truly out of bounds. You also break the glitch if you do a melee attack or use things like an Eager Edge sword.

You can still use your weapons like normal, which can be a problem on the PvP side of things. Here is how to do it:
- Equip Praxic Vestment on your Titan.
- Wait for the Exotic’s Jetpack Fuel bar to fully charge.
- Jump and activate the Praxic air move as normal.
- The moment you trigger that move, open your inventory.
- Swap your chest piece to a different armor item while the jetpack animation is still going.
- If the timing is right, your Titan will end up stuck in a mid-air hover, able to move sideways.
There are some clear limits. You cannot climb higher or drop lower while the glitch is active. Your movement is very slow, so it is not useful for real map traversal or Crucible flanks. As mentioned above, using a melee or tech like Eager Edge will break the state and send you back to normal movement. And while the glitch lets you ignore some invisible box barriers, the usual turn back kill timers still work, which keeps you from fully escaping most areas.
Considering this is a brand-new exotic and how broken this can be, especially inside PvP, expect a fix fairly soon. If you want to mess around with it, grab a private lobby, do it with friends, and avoid using it in PvP if you do not want to risk reports.

Apart from that, the new red “Eclipse” energy that powers Nightfall Station has players convinced Bungie is quietly hinting at another Darkness subclass, even though the studio has said in the past that a red subclass is not in active development.
Bungie has also made it clear that Renegades itself is a one-off when it comes to full expansion crossovers. Recently, it was revealed that Bungie has no plans to do more expansions on the scale of this Star Wars-style collab, and that future partnerships will likely go back to armor sets and cosmetics instead of full DLC.
Narrative-wise, the team has already confirmed that Dredgen Bael is not a one-and-done villain. Narrative director Alison Lührs has said they plan to bring him back in future stories, and there are leaks and rumors that the whole Dredgen organization will be in the spotlight in the upcoming major update.
