Sony just announced that they will be revealing the architecture design for their next-gen console – PlayStation 5, tomorrow, March 18, 2020, at 9 AM Pacific Time. But, what we don’t know is that this reveal was originally planned during the GDC 2020 which was canceled because of COVID-19.
“This video contains a scheduled session at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in the United States and will be in English only (no subtitles). Please note,” says PlayStation Japan.
So, it’s pretty clear that this reveal was intended for the GDC 2020 which was then due to the coronavirus global pandemic. Tune in to PlayStation Blog tomorrow at 9 AM Pacific Time to get first-ever details on Sony’s next-gen console – PlayStation.
PlayStation 4 was officially released on November 15, 2013, in the United States and Canada. PlayStation 5 release date is expected in the holidays 2020.
