Bungie released a new update 2.7.1 just recently in Destiny 2 fixing a lot of annoying glitches and bugs. This update went on a rampage after going live as it started deleting players’ inventory materials (Legendary Shards, Glimmer, etc). Thankfully, Bungie fixed the issue and restored every lost item from every player’s account. Talking about the next sandbox update, Bungie has commented that might’ve hinted on another Fusion Rifle nerf coming in Destiny 2.
Destiny 2: Fusion Rifle Nerf Incoming?
On Twitter, Bungie community manager dmg04 has replied to a tweet about a Fusion Rifles saying, “The team has been looking at Fusion Rifle feedback for a bit. We’ll have a sandbox preview before March to discuss changes to a variety of areas.” This could mean many things. Maybe, Bungie is thinking of nerfing a specific fusion rifle category, such as, High Impact fusion rifles which also includes Erentil FR4.

Stay tuned.
There has been a lot of feedback regarding this fusion rifle being too over-powered in the Crucible. With its insane range and damage, Erentil FR4 can one-shot any opponent in 80m of range. Take a look at a more in-depth video from Cool Guy below:
