There have only been two Raid lairs in Destiny 2 that were added in Year 1 of the game – Eater of Worlds and Spire of Stars. The main difference between full-fledge raids and raid lairs is that raid lairs have only one boss encounter. While normal raids have many boss encounters, take Last Wish for example. Let’s talk about Eater of Worlds and how you can skip the whole raid and get a free exotic at the end.

Destiny 2: Eater of Worlds and Free Exotic

For this, you don’t need to solo kill Argos (the final boss of this raid lair). Just before that, there’s a part where you go through multiple rings to spawn an exotic chest which will grant you a free exotic. This can be done with any class but we would prefer using a Warlock with Worldline Zero (exotic sword), top tree Dawnbalde, and 2x Icarus Dash.

This could be very tricky and difficult if you haven’t tried Warlock skating. If don’t correctly, you can get this exotic in under five minutes. You can watch the video from Aussiehalo below:

Keep in mind that the exotics you get from this chest at the end are only Year 1 exotics but with Armor 2.0 stats. So, it’s still worth it. Have you tried this before? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Destiny was released on September 9, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Destiny 2 was released on September 4, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was released later in 2019 on Google Stadia.
