Bungie is kicking off its first Edge of Fate developer livestream next week, offering a closer look at Kepler, gear upgrades, and more.
Destiny 2’s next expansion, The Edge of Fate, is just around the corner, officially launching on July 15. Bungie has revealed a ton of new info about the expansion, including new loot, The Portal system, Armor 3.0, gear tiering system, and a new destination.
Earlier this month, several content creators and press shared hands-on previews showing off the opening mission, gear changes, and the new Kepler destination. Now, we’re getting even more details straight from the source.
Bungie’s First Developer Stream for Edge of Fate Drops Next Week
In the latest This Week in Destiny (TWID) blog post, Bungie announced that it will be hosting the first of two developer livestreams next week, on June 24 at 10 AM PT. While the streams were originally confirmed last month, this week’s update gives us our first real details on what to expect.
The first stream will focus on “Armor 3.0, the new ability stat system, new weapons.” Players can tune into the livestreams on the official Bungie Twitch and Destiny 2’s YouTube channels.
Players tuning into the Twitch livestream will also be able to earn the new Astromancy emblem via Twitch Drop by watching the livestream for 15 minutes. Check out the preview of the emblem below.
The second part of the developer livestream is set for July 1, likely to expand on other systems or feature more gameplay. In related news, a recent leak has revealed what looks to be an unannounced Strand exotic heavy weapon for the Edge of Fate expansion.
