Here’s everything you need to know about Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2024, including start and end dates, the wizard-themed armor, and upcoming weapon and activity leaks.
It’s October, which means it’s the launch month for Episode Revenant—but it also means that we’re nearing closer to this year’s Festival of the Lost event. If you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for a while, you already know that the Festival of the Lost is an annual Halloween-themed event where fans come together to embrace the spooky season in style.
Every October, players have the chance to get into the spooky spirit with limited-time activity, all while earning exclusive rewards like new weapons, cosmetics, and themed gear. Over the years, Bungie has made some changes to how this event works, with the introduction of Haunted Lost Sectors.
In this article, we’ll talk about everything you need to know about the upcoming Festival of the Lost 2024 event in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2024 Armor
This year’s Festival of the Lost is going to feel a little more magical. In January 2024, Bungie held a community vote, allowing players to decide between two armor themes: Good Wizard and Evil Wizard. Here are the winners:

- Titans: Good Wizards
The winning armor sets (as shown in the image above) bring a unique look to each Guardian class, with sinister and pointy armor for Hunters and Warlocks and a noble look for Titans.

Festival of the Lost 2024: Exotic Class Items and Superblack Shader
Bungie has officially confirmed that during this year’s Festival of the Lost event, players will be able to purchase as many Exotic Class Items from Eva Levante as they want. According to the developer, each Exotic Class Item will cost 1 Eerie engram, and 2,500 candy.
The best news is that players don’t have to complete the Dual Destiny exotic mission to get their first Exotic Class Item from Eva Levante. Here’s what Bungie has to say about this:
“While players must own The Final Shape expansion to have access to Exotic Class items, you do not have to have completed Dual Destiny to purchase the Festival of the Lost Exotic Class item rewards. Unlocking the Exotic Class item via Festival of the Lost will also provide access to purchasing Exotic Class items at Xûr and rewards from Overthrow chests in The Pale Heart, though Dual Destiny will need to be completed before unlocking attunement.”
In addition, Bungie has also confirmed that the fan-favorite Superblack shader is returning during the event.
