Recently, a new glitch in Destiny 2 has recently surfaced for this exotic mission. This glitch allows players to earn double exotic class items after at mission completion. If you’re wondering how this works, we have an easy-to-follow guide below.
New Double Exotic Class Items Glitch in Destiny 2
To take advantage of this glitch, players must team up with another Guardian of the same class. This means both players should be either Warlocks, Hunters, or Titans. This is crucial for the glitch to work effectively. (via Kkuna4)
Once the team is set, load into the exotic mission, complete all the puzzles, and encounters, and successfully complete the mission. The real magic happens at the end of the mission when players reach the two exotic rewards.
It’s important to note that when you’re given the two options; “Choose Peace” or “Prepare for Battle”, you must choose peace as this would allow your team member to join back. If you do choose the other option, you must crush their Ghost as this would make both of you respawn, and you will no longer be enemies.
Upon reaching the two rewards, both players must synchronize their actions and collect the same exotic class item at the exact same time. Timing is key here, as any discrepancy can disrupt the glitch.
After collecting the first exotic reward, turn around and you’ll see two giant pillars. Use these pillars to jump out of the main area and onto one of the ledges next to the walls. Wait there until you see the prompt “Joining Allies in 3, 2, 1…”. This indicates that the game is about to teleport both players back to the rewards area.
Once you spawn back in the rewards area, you should head to the second exotic class item. Just like before, you, and the second player, need to collect the second exotic class item simultaneously. If done correctly, each player will end up with two exotic class items from a single mission completion.
This new exotic mission has received mixed reception from fans, some calling it one of Bungie’s best works, while others criticizing it for requiring a fireteam of two players, which limits solo play and can be inconvenient for those who prefer to play alone.
Destiny 2 The Final Shape is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
