Nightfalls have been a part of Destiny for years now and after several reworks, tweaks, and changes, Bungie has made it into one of the endgame activities in the game.

Grandmaster is the highest difficulty of Nightfall in Destiny 2. These are considered one of the endgame activities, alongside raids and dungeons. Similar to the featured raid and dungeon in Destiny 2 every week, Grandmaster Nightfalls also have their own rotation that changes as the season progresses each week.

Grandmaster Nightfalls became available on September 12, 2023 (week 4) during Season of the Witch. These Nightfalls are made available after several weeks of the new season launch because of the high power level requirement.
