Bungie has just revealed exciting new details about the highly anticipated free update in Destiny 2, titled “Into the Light”. The developers have confirmed the return of not one, but two classic exotic missions in the game, much to the delight of fans.

The Whisper and Zero Hour Exotic Missions Returning in Destiny 2 Into The Light?

Many fans believe that one of the returning exotic missions in Into The Light is indeed the fan-favorite The Whisper mission which rewarded players with the Whisper of the Worm exotic sniper rifle.

This is because Bungie recently added a new exotic ornament for the sniper, which is nowhere to be found in the game. However, players were able to view this secret ornament via the Bungie API. This new exotic ornament for Whisper of the Worm is called “Gilded Cage.”

While there are hints for the return of This Whisper mission, the same cannot be said for the second secret exotic mission that will return with the Into the Light update. The majority of the fanbase expects to see The Whisper along with Zero Hour exotic mission; originally tied to the Outbreak Perfected exotic pulse rifle.

However, it’s possible that we might see the return of other exotic missions like Harbinger which was tied to the Hawkmoon exotic hand cannon.

At this moment, Bungie has not revealed which two exotic missions will be returning next month. The developer will share more details on this during next week’s developer livestream.
