Last year, Bungie announced that they will be removing Pinnacle weapons in Destiny 2, and in its place, they introduced Ritual weapons. The difference between these two types of weapons is, while pinnacle weapons offered new perks – ritual weapons offer old perks with a more powerful combination. Since then, the Destiny 2 community has been asking that it was a bad idea that Bungie removed pinnacle weapons from the game. For that, this artist in the Destiny 2 community named NikkoJT has designed a bunch (44) of concepts for new exotic weapons and ritual weapons with new perks in Destiny 2.

Before we get into the complete collection, I just need to appreciate the effort NikkoJT has put in these weapons concepts. Each and every weapon is different from the others with a completely unique look and feel to it. Some of these are even completely new weapon types like Akimbo Sidearms. Let’s take a look at the collection:

So, there we have it. While ritual weapons can be a great addition to the loot pool and incentive to play activities, they are in no way comparable to pinnacle weapons. For that, I think Bungie made a mistake removing pinnacle weapons in Destiny 2. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!

Other than that, Bungie also announced the Corridors of Time will be going away next week. So, you only have until next weekly reset to claim all the lore entries and the emblem before the corridors collapse forever.

Destiny was released on September 9, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Destiny 2 was released on September 4, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was released later in 2019 on Google Stadia.
