When Season of the Seraph launched, players found out about these mysterious yellow orbs floating all over Europa, Moon, and the new Heists activity. And these were immune to any kind of damage, not anymore.

These yellow orbs are called “Security Drones” and it appears these can be destroyed by the new exotic pulse rifle Revision Zero. Revision Zero, the new exotic pulse rifle is now live in Destiny 2, and players can get the weapon by completing the exotic quest in the game, see our complete guide on how to unlock the weapon here. This is definitely one of the most customizable exotics in the game right now, as it features two origin traits, four exotic catalysts, and three ornaments.

There are 50 of these security drones in total. In this guide, we’ll have the location for each of these drones.

Destiny 2 Security Drones Location

As mentioned, there are a total of 50 Security Drones that can be destroyed using the new Revision Zero exotic. You can find the total number of drones in each location below:

  • Moon: 10 Security Drones
  • Europa: 10 Security Drones
  • Moon Heist Battlegrounds: 6 Security Drones
  • Europa Heist Battlegrounds: 6 Security Drones
  • Mars Heist Battlegrounds: 6 Security Drones
  • Seraph’s Sheild Exotic Mission: 21 Security Drones

There are six triumphs tied to these drones from “Drone Destruction I-VI” in the Secrets tab of the Ritual triumphs. Keep in mind that the order of the drones in the guide does not match the order of the game’s triumphs.

Europa

Security Done 1 – Beyond

The first security drone is located at the location of the Pyramid ship, where you interact with Elsie Bray. Spawn at the Beyond landing zone on Europa and make your way to the Darkness structure, you’ll see this drone at the top of the structure.

Security Done 2 – Asterion Abyss

For the next two drones, you’ll need to head over to Asterion Abyss. Spawn in on either Eventide Ruins, or Charon’s Crossing and head over to Asterion Abyss.

After you’ve reached the zone, head to the far left of the area where you’ll find a giant cliff. Find a vex structure that’s attached to the cliff (with glowing cosmic ice) and you’ll find this drone at the top of the ledge. Note: There are two yellow bar Vex Goblins here that spawn infinitely.

Security Done 3 – Asterion Abyss

From there, head to the northwest side of the zone where there’s an open landscape with a couple of Vex Harpies and Fallen enemies, you’ll find this drone under a crack in the ground.

Security Done 4 – Eventide Ruins

In the Eventide Ruins, head into the facility where you’d enter the Bunker E15 lost sector, this drone is located on the top left of the room.

Security Done 5 – Eventide Ruins

This drone can be found right next to the giant Deep Stone Crypt raid entrance gate. Pretty straightforward.

Security Done 6 – Cadmus Ridge

Now, fast travel to Charon’s Crossing once again, and make your way to Cadmus Ridge. You’ll see a big Vex structure and this drone will be right below that on a hill. (path towards Asterion Abyss)

Security Done 7 – Cadmus Ridge

This is located at the entrance of Bray Exoscience.

Security Done 8 – Bunker E15 Lost Sector

The last three Security Drones on Europa are in the Lost Sectors. You can find this drone behind the glass window after killing the first Vex Minotaur. You won’t be able to shoot through the glass, but there’s a way to enter this part in the next area.

Security Done 9 – Perdition Lost Sector

This can be found at the end of the lost sector after you defeat the boss, right next to the chest.

Security Done 10 – Concealed Void Lost Sector

In the Vex milk room, you’ll find this drone underneath a structure, in front of the Fallen Dregs.

Moon

Security Done 11 – Archer’s Line

The first one is located on top of the long structure in the area, right outside the Lost Sector entrance.

Security Done 12 – Anchor of Light

The next two are in the Anchor of Light area. Spawn in on the Sanctuary landing zone and head towards the Anchor of Light area to your right. After entering the zone, make your way to the giant Fallen ketch that’s crashed.

Security Done 13 – Anchor of Light

Located on the northwest side of the area, on top of the giant radio tower.

Security Done 14 – Hellmouth

Drone 14 can be found on a tower, near the K1 Crew Quarters lost sector entrance.

Security Done 15 – Hellmouth

This one is located north of the giant pit in Hellmouth.

Security Done 16 – Sorrow’s Harbor

Spawn in Sorrow’s Harbor and make your way to the far right side of the area. You’ll see some red hive plates and pillars, this will be right at the edge of the cliff.

Security Done 17 – Sorrow’s Harbor

This one can be found at the starting area of the Pit of Heresy dungeon/The Scarlet Keep strike. From the patrol zone, enter the area and make your way toward the end where you’ll see the drone behind some spikes.

Security Done 18 – K1 Crew Quarters Lost Sector

In the K1 Crew Quarters lost sector, players can find this drone on the path toward the boss area, where you’ll fight two Fallen Shank snipers.

Security Done 19 – K1 Revelation Lost Sector

After defeating the Hive Shrieker, you’ll find this drone on the left side, behind a fence.

Security Done 20 – K1 Logistics Lost Sector

The last drone on the Moon is located in the boss room of the K1 Logistics lost sector.
