So, in this article, we’ll talk about the best build for the endgame content in Dune Awakening.

Dune Awakening Endgame Build: Sandstorm Sharpshooter

Our Sandstorm Sharpshooter build’s main focus is simple: deal big damage from a distance, stay safe, and keep moving. Enemies in the late game hit a lot harder, so you want to use every advantage you can get, especially powerful ranged weapons and quick movement skills.

This setup is built around the Fivefinger’s Tripleshot Rifle, a strong sniper, Thufir’s Best, and the Jolt-sword for when things get up close. The idea is to stay mobile, pick off threats before they reach you, and always have a backup plan.

Skills and Class Setup for the Endgame Build

By the time you reach this stage, you’ll want to have access to all the main classes. This means unlocking and mixing skills from Trooper, Mentat, Planetologist, Bene Gesserit, and Swordmaster. You can check out our detailed guide on how to unlock each of these classes and their respective trainers’ locations.

Here’s a list of the most important skills for this build:

  • Shigawire Claw: This is your grappling hook, letting you move fast across the map or get out of trouble quickly. (Trooper)
  • Bindu Sprint: A fast-movement skill that helps you dodge attacks and reposition when needed. (Bene Gesserit)
  • Battle Hardened: Reduces cooldowns for your main mobility tools, so you’re never left stuck. (Trooper)
  • Ranged Damage: Increases how much damage you deal from a distance, absolutely key for this build. (Mentat)
  • Marksman, Headshot Damage, Assassin’s Shot: Boost headshot damage, making every shot count, especially against tough enemies. (Mentat)
  • Retaliate: Lets you parry melee attacks and hit back with extra power, especially good with the Jolt Sword. (Swordmaster)
  • Iron Will: Handy for surviving PvP ambushes, giving you a better chance to escape if things get messy. (Mentat)
  • Suspensor Efficiency: Makes your belt last longer, so you can chain your movement abilities together. (Trooper)
  • Vitality, Self-Healing, and Recovery: All of these help you max out your health, which in turn will help with survivability.
  • Optimized Hydration, General Conditioning, and Field Medicine: Optimized Hydration will help you with optimizing the use of Water, General Conditioning will max out your Stamina, and Field Medicine will allow you to get more health back.
  • Field Maintenance, Gunsmith, and Vitality: These add a bit more survivability, keeping your gear in top shape and boosting your health. (Trooper and Bene Gesserit)

For passives, focus on skills that boost damage, stamina, health, and shield effectiveness. This way, you can handle long fights and stay alive, even when things get hectic.

Best Weapons and Gear for Endgame

The real stars of this build are the weapons. Here’s what you need:

  • Fivefinger’s Tripleshot Rifle: This rifle is the heart of the build. It’s fast, accurate, does great damage, and even adds poison to your shots. You can get this weapon from random chests in Sheol. Make sure to bring your Radiation suit.
  • Thufir’s Best (Sniper Rifle): Another great weapon option for taking out enemies at long range. The poison effect goes right through enemy shields, so you can start fights with a strong advantage.
  • Jolt-sword: Perfect for cleaning up shielded or heavy enemies when they get too close. Just parry, then use Retaliate for a powerful finish.

Other helpful gear that you should prioritize for this build:

  • Light Armor: Helps you dodge more attacks, but if you prefer heavy armor for more protection, that works too.
  • Full Suspenser Belt: Lets you keep up momentum with your movement skills.
  • Holtzman Shield: Keep this upgraded for extra defense.
  • Utility Tools: Items like Young Sparky, Dew Reaper, and Literjons make a big difference for survival, power management, and hydration.

Don’t forget your vehicle tools and a radiation suit, you’ll need both for farming weapon recipes and exploring dangerous zones.

How This Build Works

The basic idea with this endgame build is to fight from a distance whenever possible. Open up with the Fivefinger’s Tripleshot Rifle or sniper, take out weaker enemies fast, and then use your skills to move around or get behind cover. If a heavy enemy gets too close, let them come to you, then use the Jolt-sword and Retaliate skill for a quick takedown.

Your movement skills are what keep you alive. Use Shigawire Claw and Bindu Sprint to get out of trouble, cross open ground safely, or chase down targets. The full suspenser belt helps you string these moves together without running out of steam.

In PvP or dangerous areas, skills like Iron Will and a good Holtzman Shield give you a safety net. If you need to escape, just use your movement skills and shields to get away quickly.

For farming, questing, and exploring, this build lets you stay efficient and prepared. You’ll be able to take on late-game dungeons, Deep Desert zones, and tough bosses without much trouble. And since your gear and skills are easy to swap, you can tweak the setup to fit your own preferences as you go.
