A new Marvel Rivals leak hints at exciting future additions like Blade, Human Torch, and Ultron.
Marvel Rivals, the upcoming 6v6 team-based combat shooter from NetEase and Marvel Games, is already turning heads ahead of its December 6, 2024, release date. Preload for the game went live yesterday on PC, allowing fans to prepare for the Friday launch day in advance.
Following the preload, some fans dug through the game files and found hints on potential future hero characters that we might see in Marvel Rivals.
According to the datamined information shared by the X (Twitter) account Facio_Leaks, several fan-favorite Marvel heroes and villains may be joining the roster post-launch.
Marvel Rivals Leaked Hero Characters
In a recent post, Facio_Leaks found a list of “currently disabled” characters hidden in the game’s configuration files. While these heroes and villains aren’t confirmed for the initial launch, their presence in the data suggests they could join the roster later on.
The datamined characters include:
- Human Torch
- Ultron
- Blade
- Invisible Woman
- The Thing
- Phoenix
- Emma Frost
While we don’t yet have an in-game preview of the other leaked characters, X user RivalsLeaks shared a datamined image revealing what appears to be our first look at Ultron in Marvel Rivals.
The image highlights a detailed character model, giving fans an early preview of how this iconic Marvel villain could appear in the game.

This leak follows the reveal of Mister Fantastic, whose full ability set, including Elastic Punch and Reflexive Rubber, has already been detailed. If these new characters make their way into Marvel Rivals, it will solidify the game’s reputation for including some of Marvel’s most iconic names.
Of course, it’s important to take this information with a grain of salt, as none of these characters have been officially announced.
