Paris Games Week 2020 is no longer happening later this year, according to the official blog-post. The event was previously scheduled for October 23 to 27, 2020. Last year, PGW happened on October 30, to November 3, 2019, featuring major AAA titles like Death Stranding, Marvel’s Avenger, and other titles like Life is Strange 2, Borderlands 3, WWE 2k20, etc.
“It was with great emotion that we made the difficult decision to cancel Paris Games Week, originally scheduled for October 23 to 27, 2020, which marked our 10th anniversary. The current context and the necessary anticipation of the technical and logistical complexities of an event such as Paris Games Week force us to cancel this edition.”
“This year had to be special, because of very rich news, and an anniversary edition that we were looking forward to celebrating with you. We are going to work with all the players in the industry so that this year 2020 remains the opportunity to continue living together with our passion and are now preparing the most beautiful edition for our reunion next year.”
