A recent rumor suggests that Ninja Gaiden, developed by Team Ninja, could be returning but as an Xbox exclusive.
This news comes from a couple of sources. The first one is from The Drunk Cat twitter user, who originally leaked the PlayStation 5 Devkits images, shared a Ninja Gaiden gif with no context. Shortly after, another Twitter user, Logan Meyer retweeted this saying that, “A beloved Ninja Franchise will be joining the Xbox Portfolio if rumors are to be believed. Guess we shall see soon enough.”

When asked who the original source is for this rumor, Logan claimed that “Not sure the original source, but the people I’ve seen sharing it aren’t usually the types to make up stuff.”
Xbox Era’s co-host, Shpeshal_Ed revealed during the latest podcast episode that “there is something that we’ll be able to see very very soon,” and that “something’s not dead.” Regarding the next Ninja Gaiden game, Team Ninja has shown interest and acknowledged that the fans are waiting for the next Ninja Gaiden game.
And as always, take everything with a grain of salt until officially confirmed. If there is a new game in this franchise from Microsoft, we might see it in Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase event that’s happening in just two days on July 23, 2020.
