We’re now just days away from the launch of Destiny 2 Episode Revenant Act 2, which kicks off on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. This new Act continues the unfolding story of Fikrul, the Fanatic, with all three weeks of narrative content dropping on launch day—a new approach in Bungie’s episodic release model.
Revenant Act 2 will introduce new weapons, a Destiny 1-inspired activity, and plenty of exciting cosmetics for players to collect. In today’s developer livestream, Bungie offered a sneak peek at what players can expect in the upcoming Act, building anticipation for what’s to come.

Tomb of Elders In Episode Revenant Act 2
Yes, Episode Revenant Act 2 introduces a revamped version of the iconic Prison of Elders, now called Tomb of Elders. Officially revealed during today’s livestream, this updated activity retains the core structure of the original from Destiny 1 but incorporates elements inspired by fan-favorite activities in Destiny 2, including The Coil, Deep Dives, and Riven’s Lair.

New and Reprised Weapons
Along with the Tomb of Elders activity, Bungie also revealed that Revenant Act 2 will bring two new seasonal weapons as well as one reprised weapon from Season of the Splicer. These weapons are the Noxious Vetiver submachine gun, the Scavenger’s Fate shotgun, and the Gridskipper pulse rifle.

Episode Revenant Artifact Preview
Episode Revenant Act 2 introduces five new perks to the seasonal Artifact, giving players even more customization options. Here’s a quick look at the five new Artifact perks:

Destiny 2 x Street Fighter Crossover Officially Announced
Following the datamined leak, Bungie has now officially announced that Destiny 2 is getting a Street Fighter crossover with themed cosmetic items, including a universal Blanka Mask ornament, and three Ghost shells: Delta Red, Ansatsuken, and Kung Fu.
In addition, there are also some really cool finishers and emotes that players can get as part of this collaboration. The finishers include:
- Hadoken
- Lightning Kick
- Spinning Bird Kick
The Dawning 2024 Announced
The Dawning returns this year on December 10, 2024, and will run until December 31, 2024. Bungie has revealed the first in-game look at the “celestial space dragon”-themed armor set for this event.
Bungie has also confirmed that Dawning Engrams will be returning this year which allows you to get double perks on weapons via focusing. In addition, players will also get Strange Coins from giving out the Dawning gifts to NPCs.
In terms of weapons, there’s a new one called Mistral Lift, that’s debuting with The Dawning 2024. Older Dawning weapons will also be updated with new perk pools.

Destiny 2 Revenant Exotic Shotgun: Slayer’s Fang
And finally, Bungie showcased the new upcoming exotic shotgun in Destiny 2 called Slayer’s Fang. This weapon will be available in Revenant Act 3 as part of a new exotic weapon questline.

Other details revealed during the developer livestream:
- Bungie is buffing roaming Supers in Act 2, only in PvE. This will allow you to get your Super back “two to three times faster” than normal.
- Bungie has officially revealed the Doki Doki armor sets. These will be available for Silver and Bright Dust.
- Iron Banner returns on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, with a new armor set and new weapons.
