Every Confirmed GTA 6 Location So Far

Here’s a quick list of the locations officially confirmed by Rockstar:

  • Vice City
  • Leonida Keys
  • Grassrivers
  • Port Gellhorn
  • Ambrosia
  • Mount Kalaga

Now let’s go over each one and what makes them stand out.

Vice City

We’re back in the iconic Vice City, but this isn’t the neon-drenched 1980s version. This time, it’s a modern and chaotic version of Miami. Rockstar describes it as the “sun and fun capital of America,” filled with glamour, hustle, and greed.

From the fancy hotels and beaches of Ocean Beach to the local bakeries in Little Cuba and bootleg markets in Tisha-Wocka, this city has a ton of variety. It’s big, busy, and feels like a world of its own.

“The glamour, hustle, and greed of America captured in a single city. Each neighborhood has something to offer, from the pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands of Ocean Beach, to the bustling panaderías of Little Cuba and the bootleg brands of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, out to the VC Port, the cruise ship capital of the world.”

Leonida Keys

These tropical islands sit just off the coast and offer a quieter, more relaxed vibe, at least on the surface. The Keys are all about beach bars, casual vibes, and sunsets from the deck.

But Rockstar warns: even though it looks like paradise, there’s danger close by. Think of it as the calm before the storm.

“Life in this tropical archipelago isn’t flashy but it’s easy. Get your buzz on and pull up a deck chair but look out — you are right on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful and dangerous waters in all of America.”

Grassrivers

If you’re into the wild side of nature, Grassrivers is for you. It’s a giant swamp full of mangroves, gators, and who knows what else lurking under the water. It’s one of the more unpredictable areas in the state of Leonida, and definitely not somewhere you want to get lost at night.

“You never know what lies beneath the surface of this primordial expanse. The gators may be the most famous attraction, but there are far deadlier predators and weirder discoveries among the mangroves.”

Port Gellhorn

Once a go-to vacation town, Port Gellhorn has seen better days. Now, it’s known for its closed-down attractions, sketchy motels, and a growing underground economy. Rockstar paints a picture of a gritty, worn-out place where locals get by on cheap booze, painkillers, and energy drinks. It’s rough, raw, and definitely has stories to tell.

“Cheap motels, shut-down attractions, and empty strip malls won’t bring the tourists back, but there’s a new economy in this once-popular vacation spot. It’s fueled by malt liquor, painkillers, and truck stop energy drinks. Jump on a dirt bike and hold onto your wallet.”

Ambrosia

Located in the heart of Leonida, Ambrosia is where things feel more industrial. This town is built around an old-school sugar refinery that still provides jobs for many locals. But it’s not just factory life, there’s also a biker gang that seems to run the rest of the place. It’s a mix of hard work and even harder living.

“In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme — whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.”

Mount Kalaga

Way up north, Mount Kalaga offers something completely different, wide open land, thick forests, and people living off the grid. This is where hunters, conspiracy theorists, and survivalists go to escape everything. If you’re looking for peace, or maybe a creepy encounter in the woods, this is the place

“A national landmark up against the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails. In the lush surrounding backwoods, hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals live far from the prying eyes of the government.”

How Big Is the GTA 6 Map?

Rockstar hasn’t shared the exact size of the GTA 6 map yet, but just based on the confirmed areas, it’s clear this is the largest world they’ve ever created. We’re talking about a full state, Leonida, packed with cities, swamps, beaches, islands, and mountains.

If previous leaks and analysis are anything to go by, the map might be twice the size of GTA 5. That means longer drives, more space to explore, and a lot more hidden stuff to find.
