Bungie has revealed when Destiny 2’s next raid will launch with the Edge of Fate expansion.
Bungie finally pulled the curtain back today with a massive reveal stream for Destiny 2, and there’s a lot to unpack. The studio gave fans a closer look at Edge of Fate, the game’s next big expansion, and officially kicked off what they’re calling the Year of Prophecy.
New destinations, abilities, rewards, and major changes to the game’s structure are all on the way, but one of the biggest announcements was the confirmation of the Edge of Fate raid launch date.
Destiny 2 Edge of Fate Raid Date and Time
The new raid tied to the Edge of Fate expansion officially launches on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10 AM PT. That gives players a full four days after the expansion drops to gear up, try out the new build systems, and get their fireteams ready.
Here’s when the raid will go live in your region:
- 10 AM PT (Pacific Time)
- 1 PM ET (Eastern Time)
- 6 PM BST (British Summer Time)
- 7 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time)
- 2 AM JST (Japan Standard Time – July 20)
- 3 AM AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time – July 20)
This timing also avoids clashing with GCX 2025, a big event in the Destiny community happening the weekend after. Bungie confirmed they scheduled the raid with that in mind to give everyone a chance to participate in both.
As of right now, we don’t have any details on what this brand-new raid will be called. Bungie has confirmed that it will reveal more details as we get closer to the launch.
While the raid release date got a lot of attention, Bungie’s stream was packed with new content and changes coming to the game, including the reveal of the second Star Wars-themed expansion, Renegades, The Fate Saga, Armor 3.0, Firing Range, the return of the Plaguelands, and more.
