Season of Arrivals’ brand-new exotic trace rifle – Ruinous Effigy is live in Destiny 2 after so much wait and it’s hands down one of the best exotic weapons in Destiny 2. The weapon offers a unique perk that is very fun to use. Today, we are going to discuss the location of all 25 Calcified Light Fragments that you need for the Ruinous Effigy exotic quest completion.
25 Calcified Light Fragments Locations
These calcified light fragments are needed for the “Pendulum” step of the quest. If you’re within 200 meters of range, it will appear in your Ghost’s Nav mode as a gray diamond marker. Below, you can find the locations for each of these collectibles inside Destiny 2.
Io (1-10)
1. Giant Vex Structure
Spawn in on The Rupture, Io, and head over to the top of the giant Vex stricter there. You’ll find your first Light Fragment on the top.
2. Near Aphix Conduit Lost Sector
Head to the location shown in the image. There, you’ll see a small cave near the Aphix Conduit lost sector. Head right in and follow the path and you’ll see this one on the top.
3. Second Cave
This one is also found in a cave. Go to the location shown in the below image. You’ll see a cave, get in and head right where you’ll see some taken enemies. Clear the area and you’ll see this fragment on the right side of the room.
4. Lost Oasis Spawn
Spawn in on Lost Oasis, Io. Open your Ghost Nav Mode and look behind (below) you. You’ll see a platform where you’ll find this fragment.
5. Giant Middle Tree
This is one of the easiest ones to find. Head over to the giant tree in the middle of the map and you’ll find this light fragment on the top.
6. Near Grove of Ulan-Tan Lost Sector
Head to the location shown on the map below. It is located near the lost sector, Grove of Ulan-Tan where you’ll find the sixth calcified fragment.
7. Giant’s Scar Spawn
The last four are located in Giant’s Scar. After spawning, you’ll see a long horizontal building. Enter the far right side of it and make your way to the top. Open your Nav mode and you’ll find this up there.
8. Giant Drills – 1
In this area, you’ll find the last three calcified fragments on Io. Head to the right corner of the area where you’ll find this one. Refer to the location shown in the image below.
9. Giant Drills – 2
This one is on the top of the control center, pretty straightforward.
10. Giant Drills – 3
This final fragment on Io is located inside the cave in this area. Head right in and you’ll find it on the left side of the cave.
Mercury (10-15)
11, 12. The Lighthouse – 1, 2
There are four calcified light fragments near the Lighthouse. The first and the second one can be one behind it. When spawning in on the Mercury, make your way behind the Lighthouse while using your Nav mode for help. There, you’ll find the first two calcified fragments, one on the top and one on the ground.
13. The Lighthouse – 3
This one of the top front of the Lighthouse on the platform where the Trials of Osiris flag is hanging.
14. The Lighthouse – 4
This can be found on the right side of the Lighthouse. Use your Nav mode for better guidance.
15. The Lighthouse – 5
The final one is where the two giant statues are located in front of the Infinite Forest entrance. Below the left statue, you’ll find this last fragment.
Titan (15-20)
16. The Rig – 1
This one is one the right edge of The Rig. Make your way using the Nav mode and you’ll find this one pretty easily.
17. The Rig – 2
Make your way to the location shown on the map to find the second light calcified light fragment location on Titan.
18. The Rig – 3
The third and final fragment on The Rig is right below you. Make your way into the room where you’ll find some Hive enemies. Clear them and you’ll find this one right beside the computers.
19. Siren’s Watch – 1
This one is located near Sloane. Use your Ghost’s Nav mode and find the small exit door. This calcified light fragment is located on the right side of the exit.
20. Siren’s Watch – 2
Right after you spawn in on the Siren’s Watch, you’ll find some Fallen enemies right in front of you. There’s a room located below that. Head inside and you’ll see this one ahead.
Mars (20-25)
21. Glacial Drift – 1
This one can be found on the bridge in the center of the area. Go to the right of the bridge from where you spawn and find a pod with an entrance. You’ll find this fragment there.
22. Glacial Drift – 2
The second and the final one is on the top left side of the area where you’ll find a small room. Make your way down and you’ll see this one right on top of big machinery.
23. Braytech Futurescape – Near Lost Sector
For this, you need to head over towards the Core Terminus lost sector entrance. It’s located right beside the entrance door.
24. Braytech Futurescape – Near Ana Bray
This one is located near Ana Bray in front of the blue Clovis Bray logo.
25. Braytech Futurescape – Cabal Public Event
This final calcified light fragment is located where the cabal Excavation public event happens. Go there and you’ll see three water towers (?). On the third one (tallest one), you’ll find your final fragment.
