This report comes from a well-known industry analyst, Benji-Sales, who covers video game sales records and data. He says that Beyond Light pre-orders are looking very strong. “The important news though is how well [Destiny 2: Beyond Light] is selling with how long it has to go before release”

He also mentioned in his tweet that Destiny 2 currently has the highest player count on PC since the launch of Shadowkeep in 2019. At the time of writing this article, 154,000+ players are playing Destiny 2 on Steam, according to Steam Charts.

The game recently got a new season called Season of Arrivals which brought a ton of new content including a new dungeon, which the majority of the community was not expecting at all. Also, the overall story of this season is very interesting as we’re going the Darkness route finally.
