Here’s how to get the Cold Comfort rocket launcher in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine, along with our recommended PvE and PvP god rolls.

As part of the Rite of the Nine event, three dungeons, Prophecy, Ghosts of the Deep, and Spire of the Watcher, have been updated with new loot and perk options. One of the returning weapons is the Cold Comfort rocket launcher, and it’s back with some huge PvE potential.

Cold Comfort is an Aggressive Frame Stasis rocket launcher from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. It’s built for burst damage and shines in endgame PvE content, especially with the right perks and setup.

Each event weapon also includes a small quest, rewarding one free guaranteed drop after your first dungeon clear.

Recommended loadout tips for Ghosts of the Deep:

  • Lord of Wolves and a machine gun work well for the early encounters and the Knight boss
  • Bring The Queenbreaker for the final boss fight

Cold Comfort comes with a new Gravity Well origin trait, which gathers nearby ammo when you reload.
