Bungie has announced a new developer livestream for Destiny 2’s upcoming episode, Heresy, releasing next month.
We’re just a few weeks away from the launch of Destiny 2’s third episode of the year, Episode Heresy. After the mixed reception to Echoes and Revenant—both of which left players a bit disappointed with their storylines, and the overall state of the game—it’s refreshing to see Bungie revisit a Hive-centered story. The Hive lore has always been a fan favorite, and for good reason.
Bungie first gave us a glimpse of what’s coming in Episode Heresy back in mid-2024 when it revealed the new episodic structure and teased Codename: Frontiers. One of the most exciting pieces of news? We’ll be returning to the Dreadnaught, the iconic destination from Destiny 1’s The Taken King expansion.
Now, Bungie has pulled back the curtain even more, announcing the reveal livestream for Heresy next week. Here’s everything you need to know.
Destiny 2 Episode Heresy Developer Livestream Date and Time
The Episode Revenant developer reveal livestream is happening on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, at 10 AM PT. For those in different time zones, here’s when you can watch:
- 1 PM ET (Eastern Time)
- 6 PM BST (British Summer Time)
- 7 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time)
- 10:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time)
- 2 AM JST on January 29 (Japan Standard Time)
- 3 AM AEST on January 29 (Australian Eastern Time)

How to Get the “Scorned Organ” Emblem in Destiny 2
Bungie is also offering an exclusive reward to viewers. During the Heresy livestream, players can unlock the new “Scorned Organ” emblem by watching the stream on Twitch for at least 15 minutes.
This emblem will only be available through Twitch Drops, so make sure your Bungie.net account is linked to your Twitch account before the stream begins.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to linking your Bungie account with your Twitch profile:
- Log into your Bungie.net account: Head over to Bungie.net and sign in using the correct account credentials to ensure you’re linking the right profile.
- Navigate to Settings: Once you’re logged in, click on your profile avatar located in the top-right corner of the page. From the dropdown menu, select Settings. On the next page, find and click on the Account Linking tab from the menu on the left-hand side.
- Link your Twitch profile: In the Account Linking section, you’ll see a list of platforms available for linking. Find Twitch in the list and click Link Account next to it. A prompt will appear asking you to sign into your Twitch account. Enter your Twitch login details, and once authenticated, both accounts will be successfully linked.
