Exciting new content for Destiny’s 10th anniversary has been revealed in a recent datamine leak. This includes new armor sets, seals, and other surprises.
As Destiny approaches its 10th anniversary, fans eagerly await what Bungie has in store for the beloved franchise. Recent leaks have hinted at an array of new content set to celebrate this milestone.
The Destiny series first launched in September 2014, quickly capturing the hearts of millions with its rich lore, engaging gameplay, and a unique blend of first-person shooting and MMORPG elements.
Now, as the game approaches its 10th anniversary, a recent leak suggests that Bungie plans to commemorate the occasion with special in-game content. Warning: This article contains spoilers for Destiny’s 10th Anniversary content.
Destiny’s 10th Anniversary Content Leaked
Based on the datamined leak, it seems that there will be a new event for players along with new armor that seems to be inspired by the original armor sets from Destiny 1. Additionally, a new seal is also set to be added for this event.

The datamined banner image for Destiny’s 10 Anniversary reads, “Destiny’s 10th Anniversary is here. Celebrate ten years of saving the universe with a new set of armor and secrets to discover.”
“Explore the Pale Heart and begin your hunt for hidden chests and armor pieces. Show off your new armor and step through history to complete limited-time Triumphs. Officially become legend by unlocking the new Legend title.”

Below, you can view the new armor sets as well as the new seal for Destiny’s 10 Anniversary event in Destiny 2.
Below is the list of triumphs/objectives players need to complete to unlock the new “Legend” seal:
- Collect all “Cayde-6 Stashes”.
- Reach Guardian Rank 8 or higher.
- Complete ritual activities with the “Veteran Legend” sets equipped.
- Complete Timeline Reflections.
- Decrypt engrams at Rahool.
- Defeat enemies and loot engrams in the Skywatch with the “Veteran Legend” sets equipped.
- Claim the Anniversary Armor ornaments from the Special Deliveries Terminal.

It appears that alongside the in-game content, there will be new items available for Bungie Rewards. As per the leak, the upcoming Destiny 10th Anniversary event will introduce a NERF replica of the Ace of Spades exotic hand cannon, along with the Legend seal.

The release date for the Destiny 10th Anniversary update has not been announced yet. However, given that the original Destiny game was released on September 9, 2014, it is likely that the update will be released around the same time this year.
