Struggling to level up the new seasonal vendor in Destiny 2: Episode Heresy? Here’s the fastest way to farm Sigil Shards and Scriptures so you can unlock all Nether Enhancements and focus seasonal gear via the Tomb of Want.

Bungie just dropped Episode Heresy in Destiny 2, bringing players back to one of the most iconic locations in the game, The Dreadnaught. If you played The Taken King, you already know this place is packed with eerie corridors and nightmare-fueled Hive enemies.

But this episode isn’t just about nostalgia; it introduces a new seasonal activity called The Nether, along with a new gear-focusing system known as the Tomb of Want. Like previous seasons, you’ll need to level up the new vendor to unlock perks and modifiers. The process requires a new currency called Sigil Shards, which you’ll need a ton of to make progress.

Luckily, we’ve found the fastest farm method to rack up Sigil Shards, level up your vendor in no time, and stack up Scriptures for high-end loot.

Fastest Way to Farm Sigil Shards and Scriptures in Destiny 2

If you’re looking to speed-run your way to maxing out the new seasonal vendor in Episode Heresy, Golgoroth’s Maze in the King’s Fall raid is hands down the best spot. There’s an infinite Taken Thrall spawn in this area, making it ridiculously easy to farm both Sigil Shards and Scriptures.

Here’s exactly how to get there and what to do:

  • Head to King’s Fall raid and load into Golgoroth’s Maze checkpoint.
  • Follow this path to the farming spot:
    • Right > Left > Left > Right > Right
  • You’ll reach a section where a couple of Taken Thralls with two Explosive Thralls spawn non-stop.
  • Equip a Volatile weapon to wipe them out quickly.
  • Keep farming this spot until you’ve maxed out your vendor levels and collected enough Scriptures.

Keep in mind that Sigil Shards have a maximum cap of 300. Once you reach the limit, head to Eris’ apartment and spend them on Nether Enhancements until you’ve unlocked them all.

What Are Sigil Shards and Scriptures Used For?

Now that you’ve got your loot, what’s it all for?

  • Sigil Shards are used to unlock Nether Enhancements at the seasonal vendor in Eris Morn’s Apartment.
  • Scriptures are used to focus seasonal gear in the Tomb of Want.
  • Scriptures come in different rarities:
    • Rare – Basic gear focusing on Episodic weapons and armor, Reprised weapons, World weapons,, Glimmer, and more.
    • Legendary – Allows you to focus on specific weapon types like Swords, Grenade Launchers, Auto Rifles, and more.
    • Exotic – Can reward Exotic Engrams, Ascendant Shards, and Ascendant Alloy

So, the more you farm, the faster you unlock powerful gear and perks that enhance your experience in The Nether activity.
