Destiny 2 actor Brandon O’Neill, known for voicing Crow/Uldren Sov, has encouraged fans to use #WeWantDestiny3 ahead of the game’s final update.
It has been a rough week for Destiny fans. Bungie confirmed that Destiny 2 will receive its final live-service content update, Monument of Triumph, on June 9, 2026, bringing active development on the game to an end after nearly nine years. Since then, reports have claimed that Destiny 3 is not in active production, and that there is no Destiny-related project greenlit at Bungie right now.
The news has also come with another heavy detail: Bungie is reportedly planning “significant” layoffs after the June 9 update. According to reports, the studio does not currently have a new project ready for the Destiny 2 team to move into, while some staff are pitching and prototyping new ideas.

Since the announcement, several Destiny voice actors have started sharing their thoughts online. One of the latest is Brandon O’Neill, the voice actor behind Uldren Sov/Crow, one of the most beloved characters in the franchise.
Destiny 2 Crow Voice Actor Brandon O’Neill Supports #WeWantDestiny3
Earlier today, YouTube user Red6250 shared a video featuring O’Neill delivering a short message to the Destiny community. He begins in character as Crow, calling on Guardians to gather at the Tower on June 9 for one last update in Destiny 2. Then he steps out of character to thank fans for supporting his journey as Uldren and Crow, before adding his support for the growing #WeWantDestiny3 campaign.
Here is the full message:
“Good evening, Guardians. This is the Crow. I know that over the years we have asked you time and time again to lay your lives on the line for the Vanguard, for the city, for hope. And we’re asking you one more time to gather together at the Tower on June 9th for one final update in Destiny 2.
“So, from the Vanguard, officially, you are charged to meet us there and make magic happen one more time.
“On a personal note, the actor Brandon O’Neill wants to thank you for all of the years that you have supported me and supported my journey as Crow, as Uldren and Crow.
“And maybe as a little extra, if you’re posting about Destiny, Destiny 2 in any way, how about a little #WeWantDestiny3. I wouldn’t mind the employment. I hope to see you star side. All the best, Guardians.”

Will it actually change Sony or Bungie’s plans? Realistically, probably not on its own. A hashtag and a petition are unlikely to greenlight a massive sequel overnight. But they can show demand, and right now, that matters because the Destiny 3 petition has passed 147,000 signatures in two days.
The frustration also goes deeper. Reports suggest future Destiny 2 content, including the now-canceled Shattered Cycle expansion, was still being worked on even after leadership had reportedly decided earlier this year to end live-service support.
