A new GTA 6 gameplay leak shows two minutes of footage featuring car theft options, surrendering, melee combat, NPC interactions and a cutscene.

GTA 6 leaked heavily yesterday, with footage appearing to show Jason playing basketball outside a beachfront property before another clip showed him driving and interacting with an NPC, eventually drawing attention from nearby authorities.

The leak went well beyond gameplay. CYBERLEEK, the same source behind the clips, also shared what appeared to be a full Leonida map divided into Lummox, Kelly, Leonard, Vice-Dale and Mariana counties, with named locations including Dalton Island, Gloriana Key and Catalan Key. Take-Two Interactive has since been issuing DMCA strikes against copies of the leaked material circulating online.

Now, CYBERLEEK has returned with a considerably longer look at the game.

GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Shows New Car Theft and Surrender Options

The latest leak runs for around two minutes and appears to show several GTA 6 systems that weren’t visible in yesterday’s shorter clips. One of the clearest comes when Jason approaches a vehicle and receives separate “Clone Key” and “Smash Window” options. That suggests stealing cars may involve different approaches rather than every theft beginning with shattered glass and an alarm.

Another interaction prompt gives Jason the option to “Surrender” during a confrontation. The armed NPCs confronting him initially appear to respond with tasers rather than immediately opening fire, before the encounter escalates after Jason steals a truck. It’s a small sequence, but it points toward a more graduated response system depending on what the player is doing.

The footage also gives melee combat more screen time. Jason can knock an NPC down and take the character’s hat afterward, while finishing attacks seem to trigger a brief slow-motion effect similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. Another interaction shown during the sequence appears to let Jason tag an armed character.

Then comes something we haven’t seen in the previous CYBERLEEK clips: a proper cutscene. The final section switches away from free-roam play and into a conversation between Jason and Cal Hampton, suggesting the source has access to more than isolated gameplay tests.

The dialogue between the characters during this brief cutscene reads:

  • Jason: “Good living. Here’s to you, buddy. Enjoy your life till the men in suits decide to finally shut you the f*** up.”
  • Cal Hampton: They don’t know nothin’ about m e. I use a VPN!”

The footage appears to come from an older GTA 6 build rather than the version Rockstar has today, so individual mechanics could have changed since it was recorded.
