A recent accessory trailer may have unintentionally revealed our first look at the Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 hasn’t been officially unveiled yet, but a recent leak has given fans plenty to talk about. Over the last few days, leaks surrounding the console have surfaced, including images of what appear to be Joy-Con controllers for Switch 2 from a Chinese user.
The photos show slight design tweaks to the Joy-Cons, sparking theories about compatibility with a new device. While these leaks remain unofficial, they’ve set the stage for more speculation about Nintendo’s next-gen hardware.
Now, there’s more to fuel the fire. Satisfye, a company known for its high-quality console accessories, recently unveiled its new ZenGrip 2 product for the “next-gen” Nintendo console launch.
While the product reveal itself is exciting, fans spotted in the accompanying trailer—a handheld device slotted into the grip. Many believe this could be our first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
Is This Our First Look at the Nintendo Switch 2?
Shortly after Satisfye revealed the ZenGrip 2, fans found an unlisted video on the company’s YouTube channel: a reveal trailer for the accessory. Although the video was quickly removed, sharp-eyed viewers managed to capture key details, including a mysterious handheld device slotted into the grip.
This slim, rectangular device sparked widespread speculation, with many fans believing it could be our first glimpse of the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. However, it’s important to note that this is likely a placeholder model. Most likely, Satisfye used the rumored dimensions of the console to showcase the grip’s fit rather than revealing the actual design.
You can check out the blurry screenshots from the now-deleted trailer below.
As shown above, the design does feature two buttons positioned at the bottom right, which lines up with the preview Joy-Con leaks we’ve seen.
As for Satisfye’s ZenGrip 2, it introduces several new features, including a “floating design,” improved weight distribution, and a dockable build that makes it ideal for long play sessions. Here’s a complete list of the features, as detailed in the official product description:
- Dockable Design
- Advanced floating design
- Full port accessibility and unobstructed cooling
- Asymmetric, Ergonomic Correct Hand Placement
- Securely Store Up To Two Game Cards
- Scratch-Resistant with Perfect Secure Fit
- Built-in Vertical Stand with Room to Charge
- Comfortable Non-slip Rubberized Grip
Adding to the speculation, recent reports suggest that Nintendo Switch 2 units have already entered mass production and are being shipped to retailers and warehouses. This development aligns with rumors pointing to a possible early 2025 release.
