Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con Leaked Images

The alleged photos, shared by a user on the Chinese video platform Bilibili, have given us our first look at the Nintendo Switch 2’s Joy-Con controller. The images, posted by a creator named 马里奥68, appear to show a new version of the Joy-Cons with several notable changes.

First, the controllers feature what looks like an infrared camera, larger SL and SR buttons, and a new button on the back that resembles a pedal. Another standout detail is the mention of a magnetic design, which could indicate how the Joy-Cons attach to the console.

However, the uploader also claimed that production volumes are currently too low to meet a March 2025 launch window, raising doubts about how soon we’ll see the Switch 2 in stores. As with all leaks, it’s best to treat these claims cautiously until Nintendo makes an official announcement.

Production Leak Suggests Early 2025 Launch

Adding fuel to the fire, a new rumor from Famiboards suggests the Switch 2 may already be in production. User LiC, a frequent source of Nintendo leaks, revealed that NVIDIA shipped over 800,000 units of its T239 chip to one of Nintendo’s contractors back in September.

This shipment size indicates that manufacturing is well underway, making a first-quarter 2025 release more plausible than previously thought. If these rumors hold true, an official reveal of the console could happen soon.

As with any leak, it’s essential to take this with a grain of salt. These images could easily be fake or represent an early prototype that may not reflect the final product. What do you think about the leaked Joy-Con designs? Could they be real, or are we being fooled? Let us know your thoughts!
