Sony originally announced June 4, 2020, for the PS5 Reveal Event. But, due to the protests in the United States and other countries, Sony and many other companies decided to delay any events held this week, including the PS5 reveal.
Sony PS5 Reveal Event Coming Soon
In the PS5 teaser trailer, Sony has updated the video description and updated that they will reveal the new date for PS5 reveal soon. “This event has been postponed. We’ll be in touch with a new date soon,” the updated description says.
While this “soon” could mean anything, many fans are speculating the new date to be sometime next week. Interestingly, GamesRadar’s Future Gaming Show was supposed to be on June 6th, but they recently announced that the event is now delayed until June 13th. Judging from the new date, it could be possible that Sony’s PS5 reveal event will be on June 11, 2020.

PlayStation 4 was officially released on November 15, 2013, in the United States and Canada. PlayStation 5’s release date is expected in the holidays 2020.
