The Order: 1886 was released back in 2015 as a PlayStation exclusive title developed by Ready at Dawn. It was originally announced in 2013 in the Sony E3 press conference. The game takes place in an alternate reality of London where werewolves, vampires, and other monsters roam freely. Since the release of the first part, there hasn’t been much news of what’s coming next in the franchise, until now. Recent leaks suggest The Order: 1886 sequel headed to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The Order: 1886 Sequel Coming Soon?
According to OsirisBlack, who leaked PS4 Pro features back in 2016 which turned out to be spot on, talked about a trailer which seems to be The Order 1886 sequel? The story describes the main player as “a man shoulder-mounted communication device,” who got attacked by a monster with “yellow eyes” in a “large sterile room.” As he is trying to escape the monster, the man enters yet another room and “slams the door behind him.” The monster is sniffing the scent of his blood and says “I have found you.” And then, the title screen shows up.
Now, the leaker didn’t actually reveal the title of this game but 99% of the scene described in the post hints at a sequel for The Order: 1886 which could be The Order: 1887. Keep in mind that nothing is officially confirmed for this at this point. When asked the question of whether this will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, OrisisBlack replied “Yes” meaning whatever the title is; it’s coming to both of these next-gen consoles.
This could very well be the next installment to the Bloodborne franchise. What are your thoughts on this?
The Order: 1886 is now available on PlayStation 4.
