Xbox Series S ‘Lockhart’ Appears In The Latest Xbox SDK Release Notes

Xbox Series S also codenamed by Project Lockhart has been rumored for quite some time now. This time, the Xbox Series S also codenamed – Project Lockhart has appeared on the Microsoft website in the Game Development Kit release notes for June 2020.

According to the TitleOS, Microsoft has pretty much confirmed that the Project Lockhart is indeed the name for its second toned-down next-gen console besides the anaconda – Xbox Series X.

Xbox Series S or Lockhart will have around 4TF of power that is going for stable 1080p performance. This console will be a perfect fit for those who are looking for a budget-friendly next-gen Xbox console.

Apart from that, Microsoft will reveal more of its first-party games for Series X in July. Maybe, then we’ll get to see the first look at this new next-gen console.

Furthermore, Microsoft has registered some trademarks for just the “Xbox Series” which implies that more than one Xbox Series console is coming later this year. What are your thoughts on this?
