Here’s how you can get the new Veteran Legend armor sets for each class for free in Destiny 2.
Destiny is officially ten years old as of today – and with that, Bungie has released some new freebies in Destiny 2 as part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
Part of this celebration is the brand-new armor sets for Titan, Warlock, and Hunter, which are insipired by one of the first armor concepts revealed for Destiny 1. Now, players have a chance to get these for free.
In this guide, we will talk about how you can unlock the new Veteran Legend armor set in Destiny 2 10th anniversary event.
Destiny 2 Veteran Legend Armor: All Hidden Cayde-6’s Stashes Location
In order to unlock the new Veteran Legend armor, you need to open a total of five hidden Cayde-6’s stashes scattered throughout the Lost Tower within the Pale Heart destination. Each of these stashes will unlock one armor piece.
Now, let’s dive into where you can find these hidden chests in the Pale Heart.

Whenever you’re near a Cayde-6 stash, you’ll get a text prompt at the bottom left of your screen: “Cayde Stash Nearby”
Cayde-6’s Stash #1
The first hidden chest can be found exactly where Cayde-6 stood in the Tower during The Final Shape’s campaign. From the Lost City landing zone, when you spawn in, look behind a couple of boxes near that spot, and you’ll find the chest.
Cayde-6’s Stash #2
The second chest can be found on your way to Micah-10’s conduit terminal. For those who played Destiny 1, this chest is in the same spot where Eris Morn stood in the Tower.
As you head towards Micah-10, go down the stairs and before you reach the tunnel entrance, look towards the middle area. You should see the chest there.
Cayde-6’s Stash #3
The third chest is located to the right of the main spawn point. After you spawn in, head towards the friendly Cabal who is standing right outside the entrance to the Tower Hangar, on one of the two platforms separated by a large wire.
The chest is on the second platform, hidden behind the wire.
Cayde-6’s Stash #4
The fourth chest is also in the spawn area, but to the left of the entrance that leads to the Speaker’s room. Head up the stairs and pass by the Awoken standing there.
You’ll find the chest on the other side of the wall structure.
Cayde-6’s Stash #5
The last stash is located in the Speaker’s room. Simply make your way there and you’ll find the chest toward the right side somewhat hidden behind some bushes.
How to get Veteran Legend Armor on All Characters
After you’ve opened the Cayde-6’s stashes on your first character, simply repeat the process on your second or third character. Spawn in Lost City landing zone within the Pale Heart and open all five hidden stashes again and you’ll unlock the armor for that specific character.
You can claim the Eververse package available via the Special Deliveries terminal in the Tower. This will unlock the complete set but as armor ornaments.
