A new claim from insider Nate the Hate says Starfield is planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, alongside Indiana Jones & the Great Circle.

Nintendo’s Switch 2 already has a healthy mix of third-party support and rumored ports, with July’s Partner Showcase stacking the slate with games from EA, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, and more. It’s also been a steady month of reports about big multiplatform moves from Xbox, including chatter around Halo: The Master Chief Collection heading to PS5 and Switch 2.

Now, another high-profile Xbox game may be joining the party.

Starfield Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026?

Well-known Nintendo insider Nate the Hate has claimed on X that Bethesda’s space RPG Starfield is planned for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. In his post, he wrote: “Indiana Jones & the Great Circle won’t be the only Bethesda game coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. See that planet? You can go there… Aside from landing on PS5… Starfield is planned for release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.”

That’s a big deal, considering Starfield is one of Xbox’s flagship RPGs and was previously locked to Microsoft platforms. If true, it means Nintendo’s new console may be powerful enough to handle massive, modern open-world games that were once thought to be out of reach.

It isn’t just Xbox titles rumored for Switch 2. A recent rumor has pointed toward multiple PlayStation exclusives making the jump, too, with games like Horizon Forbidden West and The Last of Us Part II being floated as possibilities. If even part of this turns out to be true, Nintendo fans might see the strongest third-party lineup in the company’s history.

As always, though, it’s worth stressing that none of this has been officially confirmed. Until Nintendo, Xbox, or PlayStation make announcements, these reports should be taken with a grain of salt.
