Following the launch of Episode Heresy, which introduced new seasonal activities, exotic weapons, and the return of the Dreadnaught, we now have our first details on the annual class-based event that pits Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters against each other for ultimate bragging rights.

Returning in 2025 during Episode Heresy, this annual competition will once again offer players new armor sets, weapons, and other cosmetic rewards.

Datamined information from Kanye 4 King in the Destiny 2 Leaks Discord server has revealed the Guardian Games 2025 armor sets, giving us a first look at what players will be rocking this year. According to the leaked details, it looks like the armor sets are themed around Greek mythology.
- Titans: Honor of Ares (inspired by the Greek god of war, Ares)
- Warlocks: Favor of Athena (inspired by the goddess of wisdom, Athena)
- Hunters: Glory of Apollo (inspired by Apollo, the god of archery)

New Guardian Games 2025 Weapon
The datamine also revealed Keraunios, the brand-new Legendary Arc Trace Rifle for Guardian Games 2025. Rocksiza, another user from the Destiny 2 Leaks Discord, shared the model of the weapon. Here’s what we know about its stats and perks:

Guardian Games 2025 Start Date & End Date
While Bungie hasn’t officially confirmed the start date, Guardian Games events in the past have typically launched in March and lasted for three weeks. Based on this pattern, we can expect Guardian Games 2025 to begin in March 2025, though an exact date is still up in the air.
Aside from Guardian Games, recent leaks suggest a fan-favorite Exotic Sniper Rifle from Destiny 1—No Land Beyond—is making a return, now called New Land Beyond. Since these details are based on datamined leaks, we suggest taking everything with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.
