Along with many other puzzles, secrets, and augments, there are a total of four hidden chests in the newly released exotic mission Operation: Seraph’s Shield in Destiny 2. However, at first, you would need to unlock the first two chests to progress the Multi-Toolin’ Around triumph to the next two chests.

This mission was released at the weekly reset on December 20, 2022, that rewards a new exotic pulse rifle called Revision Zero.

Revision Zero has two origin perks, four catalysts, and three ornaments, and is a craftable exotic. Without a doubt, this is the most customizable exotic Bungie has added to the game so far.

In this guide, you’ll find out the location of Seraph’s Shield hidden chests in Destiny 2.

How to find Hidden Chest in Operation Seraph’s Shield

Tip: For Hidden Chest 1, look for floating drones/bots in the mission. These can spawn in random locations, so you would need to keep an eye out. Get the Scanner augment buff and shoot the drones in order. (the one that’s glowing)

Hidden Chest 1

This chest is located at the very end of the mission after you defeat the final boss. However, it’s locked behind a door. To unlock the door, you need to destroy a set of floating drones in order. Below are some of the locations the drones can spawn:

  • Space elevator room (after you take it)
  • Engineering Shaft
  • Before Microwave Decontamination (room with multiple turrets)
  • After the spacewalk section, in the hangar

Obviously, there could be other locations, these drones can spawn, but I have encountered the drones in the above locations during my time doing the mission.

After destroying the drones, complete the mission like you normally would and get the final chest room. Look to your right and you’ll see another one of those drones fixing a panel. Right next to it will be Hidden Chest 1 inside a small room.

Hidden Chest 2

This is located somewhat in the middle of the mission, where you kill two Hive Shriekers. After getting the Operator buff, make your way to the Hive Shriekers room, and you’ll find another room, locked with lasers. You can bypass these lasers using an Eager’s Edge sword dash, Titan’s Shoulder Charge, Blink, or Warlock’s dash.

Bypass the lasers, and on the right, you’ll find Hidden Chest 2.

Note: There are two more chests in the mission that are currently time-gated, as per the associated triumph. We will update the guide when the new area becomes available.

That’s all the chests in the Operation: Seraph’s Shield exotic mission. Below are some useful guides that you might need for the Revision Zero exotic pulse rifle.
