Destiny 2 Pantheon Guide: Release Schedule, Encounters, Rewards, Raid Bosses, and Seal

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Pantheon challenge coming to Destiny 2 later this month.

Last month, Bungie officially revealed a new raid challenge called Pantheon that will be released in Destiny 2 in late April. Since then, we’ve known very little about what this secret challenge could be apart from being a “raid boss gauntlet.”

Now, with Into the Light officially released, fans have found some intriguing details on the upcoming Pantheon raid boss guantlet coming to Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Pantheon Challenge Release Date

The Pantheon challenge will be released on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific Time / 1 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM British Summer Time / 7 PM Central European Summer Time. Furthermore, it will be available on May 1, 2024, at 2 AM Japan Standard Time / 2 AM Korea Standard Time / 3 AM Australian Eastern Time.

Bungie has confirmed that the Pantheon challenge in Destiny 2 will only be available for five weeks, starting from April 30th until June 4th.

Destiny 2 Pantheon Challenge: Weekly Release Schedule, Modes, Difficulties, and Raid Bosses

The upcoming Pantheon raid boss gauntlet is designed to offer players an exciting challenge. It features four different modes, each with different difficulty levels and an increased number of raid bosses. Here is a list of all the modes available in the gauntlet, along with the Power Level cap, and release date.

  • The Pantheon: Atraks Sovereign +5 Power (April 30, 2024)
    • Golgoroth (King’s Fall third encounter)
    • The Caretaker (Vow of the Disciple second encounter)
    • Macrocosm (Root of Nightmares third encounter)
    • Atraks-1 (Deep Stone Crypt second encounter)
  • The Pantheon: Oryx Exalted +10 Power (May 7, 2024)
    • Golgoroth (King’s Fall third encounter)
    • The Caretaker (Vow of the Disciple second encounter)
    • Macrocosm (Root of Nightmares third encounter)
    • Atraks-1 (Deep Stone Crypt second encounter)

Destiny 2 Pantheon Challenge: List of Exotic and Legendary Weapons

The Pantheon challenge in Destiny 2 offers Guardians the opportunity to obtain several raid-exclusive weapons through the Divine Weaponary quest. Through this raid boss gauntlet, players are introduced to a sequence of demanding raid boss encounters. Upon completing the entire gauntlet, players are rewarded with the chance to select one of five exotic weapons from previous raids:

  • Eyes of Tomorrow
  • Touch of Malice
  • Collective Obligation
  • Conditional Finality
  • One Thousand Voices

Additionally, players will also be able to unlock Adept versions of raid legendary weapons. Below is the list of all legendary weapons players will unlock in The Pantheon:

  • Smite of Merain (Harrowed)
  • Qullim’s Terminus (Harrowed)
  • Insidious (Adept)
  • Acasia’s Dejection (Adept)
  • Zaouli’s Bane (Harrowed)
  • Rufus’s Fury (Adept)

Destiny 2 Pantheon Rules and Modifiers

Below is the list of all the rules for the Pantheon raid boss gauntlet in Destiny 2:

  • Complete raid encounters in succession. Activate the transmat banner after completing an encounter to progress to the next arena.
  • Each encounter has a bonus timer. You earn additional points while the timer is active. Finish the encounter before the timer runs out for additional score.
  • Completing encounters, and completing encounters with a high score, grant rewards. Remaining rewards for The Pantheon are tracked on the Triumphs page.
  • Arcite 99-40 is waiting at the end of The Pantheon for the Guardians who have completed the “Divine Weaponry” quests.

As for the activity modifiers, here’s a list of what to expect in Pantheon:

  • The Pantheon – Atraks Sovereign: Power Level: Combatants in this activity are 5 points over your current Power level.
  • The Pantheon – Oryx Exalted: Power Level: Combatants in this activity are 10 points over your current Power level.
  • The Pantheon – Rhulk Indomitable: Power Level: Combatants in this activity are 15 points over your current Power level.
  • The Pantheon – Nezarec Sublime: Power Level: Combatants in this activity are 20 points over your current Power level.
  • Shot Caller: Landing multiple precision hits with a Primary ammo weapon empowers Special and Heavy ammo weapons. Reduces incoming damage while active.

In addition to that, here are some key details on The Pantheon challenge in Destiny 2:

  • Pantheon appears to be a non-matchmade activity but players will be able to use the in-game Fireteam Finder to find groups.
  • Completing the triumphs for the four normal challenges drop their respective emblems and 30 Spoils of Conquest each.
  • Completing the triumphs with high scores and points requirements drop Adept versions of raid weapons.
  • Players will be able to get Adept weapons, Deepsight raid weapons, and Exotic raid weapons from competing in The Pantheon.

Destiny 2 Pantheon Challenge Rewards and Seal

There are a total of four new emblems that players will be able to unlock by completing the Pantheon challenge. Below is the list of all four emblems coming with the Pantheon challenge.

  • Atraks Dethroned
  • Exalted Beyond Oryx
  • Rhulk Subdued
  • Elevated Above Nezarec

Destiny 2 Pantheon Challenge Seal and Title

Pantheon Challenge will also add a brand-new Seal and Title to Destiny 2. After completing all the triumphs associated with the Pantheon’s Seal, players will unlock the title “Godslayer.” There are a total of ten triumphs associated with the Godslayer seal. You can find them below.

  • Extinction Averted: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Atraks Sovereign.
  • Checkmate: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Oryx Exalted.
  • Cast Shadow: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Rhulk Indomitable.
  • Deity Destroyed: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Nezarec Sublime.
  • Conquer the Crypt: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Atraks Sovereign with a high score.
  • Unseat the King: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Oryx Exalted with a high score.
  • Double-Edged: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Rhulk Indomitable with a high score.
  • At the Zenith: Complete all encounters in The Pantheon: Nezarec Sublime with a high score.
  • Rising High: Earn points across all encounters in The Pantheon. (1,500,000 score required)
  • Mountain’s Peak: Earn points across all encounters in The Pantheon. (3,000,000 score required)

Destiny 2 Pantheon: Twitch Drops Emblems

In addition to the in-game emblem rewards, it looks like players will also have a chance to unlock five new emblems in Destiny 2 via the Twitch Drops campaign for the Pantheon’s Creator Challenges every week.

According to Destiny 2 content creator, Benny, these are the five new emblems you can unlock via Twitch Drops in the coming weeks.

  • Creator’s Catchet
  • Effortless Flow
  • Suave
  • Bully Pulpit
  • Silicon Frontier
